Readying Pupils for Year 6: A Y5 Teacher Workshop

Aimed at Year 5 teachers, this is a supportive session dedicated to making the transition from Year 5 to Year 6 as impactful as possible. We’ll look at the wider challenges of the primary-to-final-year leap and introduce a structured approach to Year 5 planning that prioritises long-term SATs success. Participants will explore practical case studies of successful bridge-building, focusing on strategies that give pupils the best possible start to their final year. This is a space for colleagues to share learning and build the professional confidence needed to transform the end of Year 5 into a powerful head-start for Year 6.
